Our story

Founded by siblings who wanted to help

Timeless Tutoring started in 2018 with a simple idea. As students at Monroe Township High School, we saw younger kids in our community who needed a little extra help, and we knew we could give it. We wanted to do something that mattered outside of our own classes and day-to-day routines.

What began as a few sessions with neighborhood kids grew into a program that has now reached more than 300 students. When schools moved online, so did we, and we never stopped. Along the way we started working directly with teachers and principals and creating our own materials, so every student gets help that fits what they're learning.

Our favorite part has always been the students. There's nothing like the moment a math problem finally clicks, or a shy reader raises their hand. We're having fun doing this, and we plan to keep it going for years to come.

Wali Qureshi

Co-founder · Math, English, Science, SAT & college prep

Wali started Timeless Tutoring in 2018 as a student at Monroe Township High School because he wanted a real way to help kids in his community, and decided the best way was to just start. He went on to graduate from Northeastern University in 2026 with a degree in Data Science and Biology, and now conducts clinical research at Boston Children's Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. A 99th percentile SAT scorer, Wali tutors across Math, English and Science and also leads SAT and College Prep for older students.

“I love coming to tutoring every week! Zara makes learning really fun and always helps me when I don't understand something. She makes even the hard subjects feel easier, and I always look forward to seeing her. Tutoring has made me like school a lot more!”

— 4th Grade Student

“Math used to be really hard for me, but Wali helped me understand it in a way that finally made sense. He was always patient and made sure I understood everything before moving on. Because of his help, I got so much better at math that I was able to take accelerated math classes in middle school. I never thought I would be able to do that!”

— 6th Grade Student

“I can't say enough about the difference this tutoring program has made for my daughter. Before joining, she struggled with several subjects and often felt discouraged about school. Wali and Zara created such a welcoming and fun learning environment that she genuinely looked forward to tutoring every single week. Over time, her confidence grew, and her grades in eighth grade improved dramatically. What impressed me most was how dedicated Wali and Zara were to making sure every student felt supported. It's rare to find people who care this much about helping children succeed, especially through a completely free program.”

— Parent of an 8th Grade Student

“I've been incredibly impressed by the dedication Wali and Zara have shown to their tutoring program and the students they serve. They consistently go above and beyond to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing confidence in their abilities. Their commitment to providing free, high-quality academic support to younger students is truly commendable. It's clear that this isn't just about improving grades for them; it's about helping children develop a lasting love of learning. The time, patience, and care they put into this work have made a meaningful difference.”
